In 1949, two men by the name of Joe and Louie Kane began a company called Kane Brothers. With only one truck, they delivered gasoline and fuel oil from Minneapolis to Western Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota.
The company remained a "one truck" operation for the next 14 years. A second truck was added in 1966 and a third truck in 1972. From that point on approximately 3 trucks per year have been added to the fleet.
From 4 employees in 1972 to over 180 employees today, Kane Transport, Inc. has experienced major growth. Proudly, we're one of the largest petroleum common carriers in Minnesota. Kane employees are excited to serve the entire Upper Midwest and Canada.
The rest is history to be made. We look forward to serving each customer to meet the specific goals of their business to ensure future success as we enter our 70th year of operation.
